Cancellation & Rescheduling
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a charge to the card on file
- No-shows will be charged the full service amount
- Emergency situations are evaluated case-by-case
- Repeated late cancellations may result in requiring prepayment
Late Pickup
Please arrive on time to pick up your dog.
- $25 fee for every 30 minutes past scheduled pickup time
- We close at 5 PM - late pickups disrupt our schedule
- Call ahead if you're running late
- Habitual late pickups may result in service refusal
Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must be current on vaccinations for everyone's safety.
- Rabies (required by law)
- Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
- Bordetella (kennel cough)
- Proof required at first visit and annually thereafter
- Exemptions require veterinary documentation
Matting & Coat Condition
Severe matting affects pricing and what we can safely do.
- De-matting charged at $20 per 15 minutes
- Severe matting may require a shorter cut for safety
- We will not cause pain to remove mats
- Regular grooming prevents matting issues
- Photos taken before severe mat removal for documentation
Aggressive Behavior
Safety is our top priority for both dogs and groomers.
- Initial behavior assessment with every new dog
- Muzzles used when necessary for safety
- Extreme aggression may result in service refusal
- Additional handling fee may apply
- We reserve the right to stop service if unsafe
- Veterinary grooming referrals available for difficult cases
Health & Medical Issues
Inform us of any health conditions before your appointment.
- Senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions require disclosure
- We may request veterinary clearance for certain conditions
- Pre-existing skin conditions, injuries, or sensitivities must be reported
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that become visible after grooming
- Emergency contact required for all appointments
Pricing
Final pricing depends on several factors.
- Quoted prices are starting rates
- Final price based on coat condition, size, behavior, and time
- Add-ons increase total cost
- De-matting, extra time, and difficult behavior affect pricing
- Payment due at pickup
Senior Pet Release
Grooming can expose or aggravate underlying medical conditions in senior pets during or after the grooming process.
- Owner grants permission for immediate veterinary treatment if deemed necessary, at owner's expense
- Owner acknowledges that senior pets may have a higher risk of injury during grooming due to age-related conditions
- Owner agrees not to hold the grooming establishment responsible for any accident, injury, or health issue that may arise during or after grooming
- Owner consent to this release is required at the time of booking
Matted Pet Release
Severe matting or tangling increases the risk of injury, stress, and trauma during the grooming process.
- Even with proper precautions, issues may occur during or after grooming including nicks, clipper irritation, and physical or mental stress
- Owner grants permission for immediate veterinary treatment if deemed necessary, at owner's expense
- Owner acknowledges the increased risk associated with matted coat removal and agrees not to hold the grooming establishment responsible for any accident or injury related to matting or grooming
- Owner consent to this release is required at the time of booking
